Â鶹 Schools Participate In Fire Prevention Week Activities (Oct. 7-13)
Many of our schools participated in activities surrounding Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 7-13).
Our Â鶹 learned a comprehensive list of fire safety recommendations, including the importance of smoke alarms, the dangers of matches, candles and stoves, and how to navigate their home by crawling below the smoke and checking the temperature of doors before opening them.
Students were also shown the trucks and equipment our local Firefighters use to battle fires. For additional resources regarding Fire Prevention Week, visit:
