Â鶹 Through the Lens of Art - Art Show this week
On Thursday, November 1, 2018, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Â鶹 Free Academy’s Main Campus, Eagle’s Nest Gallery, local collections of paintings and prints that highlight Â鶹’s history, architecture and natural beauty will be shown. This show will highlight over 40 watercolors, colorful oil paintings as well as pencil sketches. We are grateful to the many people who have graciously loaned their private art to be displayed and also look forward to introducing student creations.
The art show is organized by the Â鶹 Social Studies department to benefit the Â鶹 Debate team. The Â鶹 Through the Lens of Art Show 2018 offers intimately scaled and creatively mixed interpretations of Â鶹 during the last two centuries. These presentations will foster active conversations with Â鶹 and guests about Â鶹’s past and bright future.
Free admission, but organizers will be accepting donations at the door. There will also be a silent auction for a few of the pieces of art.
