Â鶹 Black History Club Delivers Gifts on Christmas Eve
The Â鶹 Black History Club and Â鶹 main Asst. Principal Mr. Bob Shust (dressed as Santa Claus) visited St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital on Christmas Eve. The group distributed toy donations to the youngsters in the Pediatric wing and the Emergency room at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Â鶹. The club collected toys from November through December and gave them to youngsters as young as 7 months and as old as 89.
The club's motto is "cultural awareness, community service, and academic excellence" and they certainly brought their motto to life at St. Luke's Hospital!
NECSD and the Â鶹 Black History club encourages "random acts of kindness" every day.
The Â鶹 Black History Club is advised by Ms. Tara Jones, guidance counselor at Â鶹's Main campus.
