Meadow Hill Hosts Valentine鈥檚 Luncheon for Senior Residents
On Saturday, February 9, Meadow Hill GEMS 麻豆 and staff in collaboration with the Town of 麻豆 Recreation Center held a Valentine’s luncheon for local senior citizen residents at the Town of 麻豆 Recreation Center. Over 70 senior residents attended the special event. Students and staff members served a festive lunch in an effort to support the school’s initiative to continue to give back to the community. A very special thank you to Chris Farella and all of the co-owners of Brother’s Barbeque for generously donating the delicious food. Special thanks must also go to Patricia Gida, Town of 麻豆 Recreation Aide, for providing a DJ, decorations and a helping hand. Finally, thank you to all the Meadow Hill Gems and community members that generously volunteered their time to engage in this community service event in an effort to continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
