Â鶹 West Scholars Create "Ideal College and Career" in Expo
11th grade advisory Â鶹 at Â鶹 West worked in small groups on post high school and graduation planning. The Â鶹 participated in a "My Ideal College and Career Expo" where they presented their ideal college with programs and services that were most important to them.
Their final products were presented to 9th and 10th grade Â鶹 as well as parents of the 11th graders. Winners were selected based on the number of votes they received. Two winning teams were selected as a the result of a tie. Their prize was lunch with Dr. Padilla where the Â鶹 asked questions about our Superintendent's experience of navigating college.
Students from Mount Saint Mary College attended the event as well as Board of Education member, Mr. Philip Howard.
