GAMS Hosts Third Annual "Leader In Me" Job Fair
GAMS hosted their third annual LIM Job Fair on Tuesday, October 8th. The objective of this initiative is to promote and support student’s social and emotional development tied to the school’s vision. Through this initiative they are building capacity in the school community by empowering Â鶹 to assume leadership roles as well as fostering growth in multiple areas of student’s academic, career and personal/ social development in alignment with the American School Counselors Association (ASCA) standards for Â鶹.
Last year GAMS had over 200 Â鶹 in grades 3-5 apply for over 25 potential jobs, interview and assume leadership roles in the school community. GAMS undoubtedly fostered a positive climate, empowered Â鶹, and helped Â鶹 begin to explore the world of work and career development.
Additionally, On October 17th GAMS will be conducting personal "job interviews" with Â鶹.
