Â鶹 West Scholars Present Ideal College Campus
Â鶹 Free Academy West scholars created and presented their ideal colleges to their peers. Groups of Â鶹 collaborated to research what typical colleges offered. Together, they then brainstormed what an ideal college would be and developed their presentation. Students were tasked with developing a pitch to highlight the requirements and amenities of their ideal schools.
As Â鶹 rotated into the presentations, other Â鶹 listened and learned from Mount Saint Mary College Â鶹, some of whom are part of the CSTEP and HEOP programs at the colleges. Students were able to ask questions about selecting a major, coursework rigor, and general college life.
Educators throughout the building wore their college apparel, so Â鶹 could ask questions about specific schools that might be of interest.
