Temple Hill Academy Scholars Engage in Kindness Campaign
Through the months of February and March, Â鶹 at Temple Hill Academy participated in a Kindness Campaign. Students who demonstrated kindness throughout the school day were acknowledged during the morning announcements with the support and encouragement of the teachers and administrators. In addition, Â鶹 in grades K-5 learned about what it means to be kind and different ways kindness can be demonstrated through art with Miss Reyes, the K-5 art teacher. Kindergarten Â鶹 made a “Who is Kind?” Owl drawings that they took home to remind them that they are kind through their actions. First Grade Â鶹 collaborated to create word collages that demonstrate or represent “Kindness.” Second and Third grade Â鶹 learned about Positive and Negative Space art that tied with positive and negative actions. Our Fourth and Fifth Grade Â鶹 created Op Hearts with a rainbow drip that symbolizes that Kindness can make a difference and impact on someone. Temple Hill is so proud and hopes to continue encouraging Â鶹 on being Kind.
