South Â鶹 School is hosting middle school orientation on Wednesday, August 21st and Thursday, 22nd for incoming 6th grade Â鶹 from 8:30am - 12:00pm. It is recommended that Â鶹 attend both days.
A parent/guardian meeting will be held on both days from 11am - 12pm. Parents/guardians should only plan to attend one of those days as the same content will be covered.
Transportation is available for Â鶹 and must be requested no later than August 5, 2024.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are excited to welcome your child to South Â鶹 School for the upcoming 2024/25 academic school year! To commence this exciting journey, we invite your child to join us for our orientation days on August 21st and 22nd, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at South Â鶹 School.
Our orientation program is designed specifically to support incoming 6th graders and their families as they transition to middle school. We recognize that this transition can be both exhilarating and challenging. To facilitate a smooth adjustment, our dedicated SMS staff has designed a series of engaging activities, including guided tours of the school, practice sessions for locker use, and discuss expectations for this upcoming year.
Additionally, we encourage parents/guardians to attend an informative meeting from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. during either session. This will provide you with the opportunity to meet our staff, gain insights into school expectations and guidelines, and address any questions you may have.
To register and confirm your attendance for orientation, please scan the QR code on the attached flier. You can also register on the district website .Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided for Â鶹, and light refreshments will be available for parents/guardians attending the meeting.
