9th Grade Orientation | Â鶹 NORTH Campus

Dear Â鶹 North Campus 9th grade Students and Parents:
We would like to welcome you to Â鶹 Free Academy. We hope that the next four years at Â鶹 will be educationally successful and that you will walk across the stage on Academy Field and receive your diploma as a member of the Class of 2028.
High school is a time of change. The workload and social adjustments are greater and the expectations of attendance, completing assignments and behavior are higher. Your years at Â鶹 will be exciting and filled with many new opportunities.
In order to prepare and introduce you to Â鶹 North Campus you are invited and expected to attend the 9th grade orientation/boot camp on Thursday, August 29th from 8:00am-12:00pm. Â鶹 P-TECH Â鶹 should not attend, as they received this information during the P-Tech summer program.
At the orientation/boot camp, we will introduce you to the administrators, teachers, curriculum, school policies and other important information that you will need to know as you enter Â鶹.
As you can see on the attached boot camp schedule, the day is scheduled to address specific topics for 9th grade, but we will also discuss how you should plan for the following high school years. Transportation will not be provided, so please plan accordingly.
Boot Camp Schedule:
8:15 - 8:45 AM - Arrival, Registration & Breakfast
8:45 - 9:15 AM - Student Assembly
9:15 - 11:30 AM - Student Activities
11:30 AM - Student Lunch
11:30 - 12:00 PM - Parent Meeting - Prior to picking up up your child, please join us in an informational session for parents and guardians
12:00 PM - Dismissal
